Margaret Antkowski is an experienced public relations professional with over 11 years of work with Canadian and international brands and organizations. She specializes in marketing communications for food and beverage, online retail, and consumer packaged goods companies.
At Praxis PR, Margaret uses her strong strategic planning, media relations, event planning and social media knowledge for clients such as Skinnygirl Margarita, Sauza Tequila, Hornitos Tequila, Alberta Premium and Tropicana.
Prior to joining Praxis PR, Margaret was a senior consultant at NATIONAL Public Relations where she worked with Amazon.ca, Summer Fresh Salads, Maple Lodge Farms, Gap Canada, Becel, and The Weather Network among others.
Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from York University, a Master of Arts from University of Toronto, and a Public Relations Certificate from Humber College. She is a member of International Association of Business Communicators (IABC Toronto), Women’s Culinary Network and Trillium Toastmasters (Mississauga).
In her spare time, Margaret explores the outdoors, travel and good food, and pens her own blog, (Sub)urban Tourist.
